Mrs. kim was so much fun.  To know that she lost her daughter last year in a car accident really made me want to make her feel better about herself.  She needed to get out of the 80′s and had total trust in me.   She was a delight to have in my chair.  What we did was highlight and low lights to remove all traces of grey hair, that alone took 10 years off her look.  Then time for the cut, it was very stiff and wire like and did not react well to blow-drying.  This hair need to be straightened and the cuticle of the hair needed to be closed in order to get the high shine and silkiness that we achieved.  I used a great new flat iron that takes the hair from WET right to dry and straight and smooth and shines like crazy.  We brought up the length and shaped it to have it grow out into a bobbed look that is easy to maintain.  Mrs. Kim would like to have a low maintenance hairstyle and I think a BOB haircut is the best choice for her.  To keep this style up you need to get a trim every 6-8 weeks and touch ups on the color every 2 months depending on how fast your hair grows.  Later that night I saw Mrs. Kim out and she looked AWESOME and I can tell she FELT AWESOME and at that time I knew I had achieved what we set out to do.  That is what makes me LOVE my job!!!
