Kathy is my newest client she saw my web page and had to come in and experience the shop and ME for herself. She made her next appointment for 6 weeks so i think i have a new client. Welcome Kathy, to Tasha’s Techniques!!!
Old friends come home for a make over yvette from Texas

It was so good to see Yvette again she came home for a visit and had alot to tell me about her new life and I am happy to say that she is doing GREAT and she looked great after i got my hands on her. LOL She looks at least 10 years younger..:) Look at those eyes sparkle in the after picture color can make all the difference.
September 14th will mark 2 months in business
On September 9Th 2008 Bill keeler’s crew will be coming in to film a TV commercial. How exciting is that. It will be expensive but you have to spend money to make money. I am working with my crew to teach them my techniques in cutting hair, some get it really easily and some have to work at it. I am finding that I am a good teacher and my crew is strong and I have faith in them. We have a lot to learn but they are willing and eager. There are strong points on every one’s behave for instance ,
Billy is amazing with make-up and answering the phone. He is very personal and people like him so that is going as good as to be expected. As in any new business there are always bumps in the road but we work them out and learn from our mistakes. Billy is very reliable and wants to prove himself. He also wants to learn as much as he can and that is a good sign of a good hairstylist.
As for Jennifer she is amazing with updos. This girl has impressed me with her creativity and I have already started booking her for prom and Christmas balls. So if you need an updo for any occation call ahead she is booking fast. Jen is a visual learner there fore she picks things up very fast. I am working with them everyday to teach them and show them its not that hard and to keep things simple. Thankfully they are eager to learn and want to be the best they can be. Just yesterday Jen was talking to me about taking a Paul Mitchell class on hair cutting. I was very happy to hear that.
Lisa is the sweetest person I have ever met. She is so polite and sincere. She wants to prove herself to me and others everyday. She is a hard worker and very dependable. I showed her a long layered hair cut the other day and she mastered it. She felt better as I taught her a way to make sure that it is even all the way around. Everyday she is getting better and better. Lisa is also very good at updos it may take her a little long to get an idea of what to do but her work is worth the wait.
Debra is a very good hairstylist, in fact she has been teaching all of us a few tricks that she has learned over the years. We are all getting along very well and I am so happy about that. I couldn’t ask for any better at this time.
So in closing please keep your eye’s open for the commercial it is going to be awesome. Very different from anything local that has been done before. I would love to hear your comments when you do see it. Also my grand opening is being pushed back to October some time I will know more when the commercial is finished. I will be having great deals going on and the crew will be cutting hair that day for any new clients.

Update on Corey :)
Corey is an amazing young man and as far as i am concerned he is a miracle. He is home and doing unbelievably well. He has made a full recovery as far as any brain damage. Thank you for all your prayers I am 100% positive that that has made all the difference. He came to visit me at the shop to fix up his hair. He was on crutches and was very thin, but it was the best vision i could of asked for. Just seeing him walking through my doors at the shop was an unbelievable sight that i was so grateful for. I was overwhelmed by this and cry, soon the whole shop was feeling the emotion. I am so happy for my friends Lynn and Ron. They are awesome parents and i admire them. I have to say that having something like this happen to you can truly bring things into prospective. Suddenly you appreciate what you have and learn to accept things for what they are, and look at your life in a more positive way. It is a wake up call to be happy with what you have, stop looking at the greener grass, because what you have is greener then what is on the other side. In other words, look at your life in the positive way with all you are blessed with not what you don’t have and want. We need to appreciate what we have you never know what life has to threw at you.
