My Husband wanted to go for a fish fry so, everyday on his way to work in Rome, he drives by this Bar and Grill and wanted to stop in and see. So we went tonight to get the famous fish and chips. It was great and people there are awesome. Carrie the owner of the BAR says that she had help from her Mother with the finacial and business end but she runs the front with her people skills. It seems to be working because We both have nothing but GREAT things to say about this bar and grill.
I asked the Owner( Carrie Mculton 30 years old) where she came up with the name of the Bar and GRill, and she told me that she researched the story on a man named STOCKDALE who was on board the USS Oriskany back in 1965 till 1973 and he was a POW. The story touched her so the name of the bar and grill was BORN!! ” The STOCKSDALE”. I say please go check out this bar and grill and help support this area and enjoy some good old fashion FISH AND CHIPS and tell them you heard about them from TASHA’S and you”ll be treated with a BIG FAT SMILE!!!
